Well out of order! Vermin has left Birdy high and dry. There are plenty of available riders that couldve stood in. Vermin should not have left it this late to decide.

That's really bad for Chris, I'd love to see him doing well, but there's something I don't understand when they say X or Y rider is not sure if he'd be able to ride X or Y bike....don't they have a motorcycle to ride at home? Hace Chris not try to hop aboard een a stationary motorcycle, a simulator or just his personal ZX-10? If I was a professional racer the less thing I would do is wait 4 weeks before climbing a bike, I would be riding all week long in the canyons monday-thru-friday or in any track close to home, or are they prohibited to do so? I dobu't , ine Lorenzo,Hayden and others have been hurt my motocrossing!!!!

Don't you think that there would have been some discussion between rider and team manager regarding just when and where a decision to ride or not is going to be made? The way some people carry on it's as if Vermeulen made an arbitrary decision with no discussion at all with the team.

You use muscles that you really don't use any other way when you're track riding at pace. I always thought he was being pretty optimistic with such a banged up knee tho. Hope he's fit for round 3.

Joe Silva's right.

It was stupid to think he could ride around his knee injury.

I'm not even a doctor and I worked out straight away that as soon as he set off his knee injury would stay with him. No way was he going to be able to ride around it. Its not like it was a backmarker or something. Well, if they will insist on employing Australians.....
