Looks like Aprilia are paying the flaminis more than ducati this year.It's their turn to have a 'special' motorcycle...
Why can't they race what they build like the japs... WSBK is more of an advert for italian motorcycles than a competition. which is just as well because if that 2 horse race is supposed to be putting motogp in the shade then motogp is laughing all the way to the bank...

Didn't know - presumably you don't know that the race bike now has gear driven cams, but the homologated bike i.e. the road bike has chain driven cams. The rules state that this change is legal provided that a race kit is commercially available. The legality of the current spec Aprilia WSB bike hasn't yet been decided - they were allowed to race at this round, but if the decision goes against Aprilia they will lose their points from the first two rounds.
