Looks like cal has been reading Crash forums again...

It doesn't make an ounce of difference if you "want" to be thought of as a nice guy. If you behave like a ****, you will be thought of as a ****.

Cal I was a fan of yours in BSB. You seemed a dead on guy. But all those comments you made over the weekend just made you sound like a ****. Fair enough I think you deserve another chance to prove that you are the genuine nice guy you claim you are. As for your comments about it being harder for you since you have to work harder to do well, every rider has to give 110% if they want to win, no one gets it easy at this level.

All in all I want to be your fan, only time will tell. But goodluck in Valencia :)

cal can be superfast on his day, but he is mega cocky with his mouth, best thing he can do is start winning then he can shoot his mouth off and no one can say anything because he is winning. but i think he will crash under presure 6 times out off 10.

Well unfortunatly what comes out of ones mouth has a profound affect on fans perception.

What was said after Philip Island was not to anybodys advantage. If you say something that comes across as arrogant, self serving and not accepting where you placed.

Unfortunally you came off like a bad sport. Making excuses and not enduring yourself to your team more importantly. To hell with the fans. They are not working to make things better. Your team is.

I like your talent and determination. But you are a rookie. I understand that you are trying as hard as you can. I have stated in my post that I like you used the word "we" post race.

So what if Cal does read Crash? I bet loads of riders do.
One thing i wouldn't do though is take too much notice of what anyone (including me) has to say.
Having said that, i think Cal's learned a lesson as his comments (however they may or may not have been meant) on Sunday didn't come across well to anyone who was listening.
The lads got a lot of talent and bucketloads of self belief and you need both of those to be successful in this game.
Fair play to Cal for giving the interview, i still want to see him do well and i believe he has the talent to do so........

And just to add one more thing, well two lol

The amount of riders/drivers on here who get written/slagged off by people who are not even fit to tie their shoelaces is astonishing. Last year Haslam was getting s*&%$loads as was Hayden, Sykes, JT, Ellison, Shakey....the list goes on and on
This year will be no different as has already been proved (and the season has hardly started) by some of our "armchair" experts. Opinions are like A$$holes, everyone has one but most are full of sh1te.

Lastly, anyone wishing on a rider crashing needs shooting imo, remember Craig Jones died doing something that we all love watching, they put themselves on the line every time they go out on that track

But again with your comments on not being Ben Spies and having to work harder to get where you are does not fair well.

From last year you pretty much kicked that ass. And it seems you thought your SS championship would put you in the drivers seat for the SuperBike championship.

I have no doubt you are passionate about your job. And if what you say is true then I can only hope that you realize you are only a part of the puzzle that is WSBK racing. I agree with Yamaha. You are a rider that does not come down the pike very often.

Put your head down and let the chips fall where may.
