Well Checa at the top to start, always gone well here JT/Biaggi close with Faby being near the top it could be a Ducati race again. Roll on First Qualifying as still too early to deem much from this yet.

Yes, I agree with an earlier post, it's too early to call yet. Checa is almost 2 seconds off Spies' best from last year. It will become more interesting after some fettling has been done and some rubber has gone down.

Being shamelessly partiotic for a second, it's great to see Tom Sykes pushing up the classification, and look at Simon Andrews. He's taken some of his 2009 BSB promise and is showing what he can do. Good on you guys!

FFS this is first practice and yet again people are comparing to last years pole time... look back and see what the fastest RACE laps were (heres a clue Bens best race lap was a 35 flat and Nori is the lap record holder at 34.6 ish)

Fingers crossed I will be back from Afghan in time to watch the race on Sunday. My lovely wife has recorded the first 2 for me. Good luck to all the Brits...

@ Al i think i am reading it right but i think Racefan was simply pointing out that compared to last years times there is along way to go yet and we can expect everyone to get a lot quicker. We will have to wait and see if they can match Spies's time. But yes it is only free practice.
