Well, he got a double dip because of a double start. That Ducati is murder in a drag race to the first corner!

Still, he's able to make up a lot of positions just due to his special abilities. It was a pity to see Carlos lose precious fractions of a section on every straight.

A couple of days ago i commented that maybe the lose last season to spies had affected nitro more than i thought. i humbly apologise to nori. i think in race two we saw the real haga coming back to the fore and hopefully he has turned a corner this season. we need a strong and confident haga in the series and i think there were other riders who made leaps and bounds during this round such as JT, Camier and Rea. we all know this makes for a great season, but alas i think haga will come up short once again.

I knew Haga would be fine but what's the issue with Fabrizio? i was expecting him to come out guns blazing based on last year's run towards the end of the season but he has woefully underperformed albeit it's still early on yet.

I never rule Haga out. I also believe hes still a little hungover from last years dissapointments. Hes so damn smooth on that DuCati though isnt he? Lets get it together Nitro!

Ducati did something in the course of developing the bike over the off season that reduced the feeling from the front end - hence all the front end crashes, the poor performances from Haga and Fabrizio and Hagas comments about the front end to MCN about a month ago. Fabrizio hasn't got the front dialled in yet to get his confidence back, but Haga looked to have a better feeling with the Ducati than I have seen since his Renegade days - he was sliding the front and back with complete confidence. I think that is the corner turned for him now.

it would be nice to see carlos get the credit he deserves. Only hundreths behind mr valencia this week and one second behind max last. Yes he crashed but probably testament to how hard he is trying. Before anyone says his bike is not slower refer to max's comment .he knows more than you!
