Double points finish for Tom Sykes on a tough weekend for Kawasaki in Spain

Seems the only way for sykes to score points is just to ride around for a finish and hope a lot of guys crash out.
Think it will be the usual paul bird sacking at the end of the year. When was the last time bird kept a rider for more than one year?

Can't blame the rider when the bike is just not competitive. The only time kawi ever won a Championship was with Rob Muzzy and Scott Russel. Kawi just can't figure out how to make a superbike or a motogp bike. They are fine in the Supercross and Supersport dept so go figure.

I think that Tom would have been better off staying in BSB for another couple of years, he was very competitive on the Suzuki and would have gained more experience / confidence as I am sure podiums and wins would have been a regular occurence.
