WSBK » Corser critical of Kyalami track condition

Corser: Tthe track is not clean enough... I wasn't the only rider to talk to him about these two matters, but he {FIM representative] didn't seem to care what we thought.

gnikcuf disgusting!

But not so surprising.
Some of the FIM people are good. Others aren't fit to wipe the riders' arzes, being not much more than self-important place-men and politicians.
Should sack the tawt.
But they won't.

And it won't help a bit that the regional governor told WSB last month they're not wanted next year so they'll buy out the contract - Sounds like this is designed to ensure the riders are behind the decision not to go back there for a while, cos sure as kcuf if that strip was there last year Corser would have noticed it .....
Corrupt SA government stnuc.

Corser didnt race there in 2009

The contract was terminated longer than a month ago - because public money was being used to fulfill a few gold-diggers goals of getting F1 to SA, & making themselves very rich.

Corser can be a bit of a whiner

When you two fall off your chairs typing and then whine is when you need cement when you ride a bike at the speed he does he is just stating whats there and the response he got and also others were also telling the official :)

The contact I have had with the FIM (mostly Frenchmen) fits in with this aloof, arrogant attitude. They are really a piece of work, in a day and age where safety should be a sincere concern.

Does the riders' union (the one in MotoGP) also extend to WSB? Sorry don't know about that. It certainly should, and some muscle should be shown to the so-called "FIM Safety Officer" (asshole).

If a couple of riders fell off and got hurt there would be action (and fingers pointed). That's not right.

I speak as somebody who has raced some really dangerous courses (IoM TT, Ulster, Sacramento Fair Grounds, public roasd in South America) and respects the riders' appraisal of what is safe/what's not.

If its dangerous, and the riders should know, especially the likes of Troy Corser and the FIM safety person won't listen, then don't race. Its that simple. As much as I like to watch racing I don't want to see anyone hurt or worse.

The wenkers who called Corser a whiner are just feckin stupid toss pot idiots who belong right here on this site. God what decade did you crawl out from? You sound like those mongrels from the 50s who use to say in response to questions in relation to track safety that "the throttle works both ways you know". God some fecken *****ic stupid fecken pr1cks follow motorcycle racing.

Motojunky "Harden the feck up?" You've obviously never raced or had any track days. This sport is dangerous enough as it is, so why add to the risk when it can be avoided? And racers are possibly the hardest bunch of sportsmen you will find.

Heres hoping for another Corser podium!

I wouldn't call Corser a whiner but I am surprised.

As a rider who has raced at won WSBK rounds at places like the Osterreichring and Laguna (in the old days when it was just dust and concrete) I thought a little rubber strip wouldn't be a big deal.

If it isn't grippy then stay on a tigher line and don't run over it. Or if the circuit is lacking a little grip because it is dirty then rider accordingly.

The circuit is the same for everyone. It's not grippy when it's wet either but no one complains because it's the same all round.

I hope you would agree that as one grows up that they do not do the same things they did 10 years ago. Corser has been in the series for about 15 years and I'm sure he now see things with a different eye.

For the FIM guy to just completely blow off Corser like that is just ridiculous. The riders are the ones who are risking their lives. Why not have a look if there is a question rather than just blow it off?
