Performance of the weekend for me. Struggled for the right set-up for Kyalami and might've been really disheartened after qualifying. He and his team seem to pull things out when it gets tough though.

Fair play to you guys for keeping your chins up but that is serious equipment he's riding. LH was doing better at this stage last year on a first season privateer...If honda wants parts for their blade racers they go to tenkate...
Looked like he'd been slapped with a wet fish on the podium... Was a great race though!

That may be right Time Tells but where are the other hondas especially neukirchner? I think he has immense talent and love to see him ride a bike. Of course he looked like he'd been hit with a wet fish - he rode an amazing race and got mugged at the end by an equally amazing haslam. People forget he is only 23 and has only been doing short circuit for 7 or so years - haslam has a few more year experience. Brilliant riding yesterday by Jonathan & Leon - love to see these two battle :)

JR needs to get himself on to a competitive bike,he shouldnt have to rely on his precocious talent all the time to be able to run at the front, its all him-not the bike...a non factory machine wont cut it at this level being surrounded by full factory machinery...

An aggressive yet flowing style that is a joy to watch, and a rider who certainly isn't scared to put a pass on anybody. Here's hoping the lad can close the gap to Haslam.

Props to the rider from Ballyclare, Northern Ireland Johnathan Rea.

Fanfastic weekend all things considered. Starting 11th on the grid and moving to 5th almost 14 seconds back from Michael Fabrizio.

The second race however his performance was almost perfect. Led almost the entire race and finished half a second back of race winning Leon Haslam.

His start and charge to the front was pretty impressive by any standard. Leon raced a smart race and had just that little bit to get around for the win.

Johnny Boy is fast. Just a few races in but he seems to be much smoother and more deliberate on the track.

So far so good with room to improve. Looking very strong to me.

:p
