Cant work this one out, he's beaten the other top british riders in bsb who are now winning week in and week out, and yet his season is getting worse than last year. Hope things improve!

Could be the start of the manoeverings to slide Bayliss back into the Ducati family somewhere, unless Shakey can get it together. Remember Shakey is (or was last season) employed directly by Ducati, so if they want Bayliss back in and on a factory Ducati, then logic suggests that the weakest performer (purely on points at this point in the season) would be a target, especially as he's on their payroll. Checa I think is paid for by Althea themselves. Could be wrong on that though.
Shakey needs to recover some form and hope that Haga doesn't, thus making Haga the target for Bayliss's seat.
All very bewildering cos he was super quick in winter testing and has had the beating of Haslam & Co..

Perhaps the latest announcement about the twins being de-restricted and dropping the minimum weight limit by 3kg will allow him to push further up the order whilst they work out why he was way off the pace at Kyalami. Bit premature seeing as he had the beating of Checa in both races at Monza which is an all out speed track anyway, although as I said, if its the wheels starting to turn in order to slide Bayliss back in then there may not be much Shakey can do about it except hope that Haga still struggles at Miller and beyond.
It could even be a bit of dirty tricks on the part of Ducati to 'ensure' Bayliss gets back in, without losing Haga i.e. Haga shunts to Althea and Shakey is booted...

out on the basis of 'poor performance'. Seems really dodgy to me that Shakey was faster than Checa at Monza, was 3rd fastest in FP1 at Kyalami but then couldn't go any faster in the rest of the sessions nor the races, yet Checa was able to challenge for race wins in both races ??? Stinks if you ask me...

lets get truthful, checas been up at the sharp end from the start of the season fighting for wins, monkey boy is lucky if he gets it in the top ten, after all his fans whineing last year (he done fk all then as well)about poor bikes ,now he has good ones and hes still doinin fk all,he done fk all at rizla suzuki, he done fk all on stobart hondas ,done fk all in gps and hes done fk all here,he had purple patch in bsb with a dominant bike to win it,hes not good enough at this level ,& would struggle in bsb again, average rider

LMAO @ Nitro still trying make lame excuses.

Everything I've said over the last 2 years has been proven 100% correct by Shakey this year.

Without his 'favourite' round at Portimao, he wouldnt even be 12th, watch him slide down further.

Always said the only reason he ever won the BSB title was because he had a huge bike advantage & an injured teammate ... now the other British riders (including his injured teammate) are showing how true that is!

As for the Bayliss conspiracy theory ... Troy's wife would be faster on that Duc than Shakey, so the team could pick any other rider & they'd see the results immediately.

There comes a time when you admit you were wrong Nitro, take the chance!
