Former WSBK runner-up Laconi sets a decent pace in his first World Superbike test for several months, although DFX Ducati insists he isn't close to making a competitive return.

Just cannot help thinking that if you have a crash as bad as Regis, maybe someone it trying to tell you something. So hope that the decision he makes on his future is the right one. Good Luck Regis

Great to see Laconi is well enough to even sit on a bike let alone ride the thing after that crash and those serious injuries.Just glad he's recovering so well after that.Dr Costa did say he would be able to race again one day should he want to but not for a long time and that he would fully recover from the injuries over time.I guess this is proving it.

Motorbike racers never cease to amaze me.....horrific injuries, near death.......yet as enthusiastic as teenagers to jump back on.

Hope he does come back!
