I was at the races at Miller and saw this happen both races. Checa was flying around that track and then all of a sudden "puff" and he was coasting to the side. Better luck to him in the future. Hope he pulls off some more great results.

Could this possibly be a conspiracy by the Ducati factory? Something to think about... LOL :-o

Insiders know this is a serious problem with the privateer Ducs. If you savagely ride them to their maximum potential than they fail abruptly.

Luckily Shakey will never have to experience this. :)

Goog God! Don't ask Ducati Corse - they've got their factory riders chasing Checa's fumes(even after his double DNF) and Troy Bayliss is comfortably out-running the same two at WDW. I've got not a thing against either Fabrizio or Haga, but they have issues at the moment. Yeah, it's embarrassing for the factory racing team, but not for Ducati. Not at all. It may even do more for sales and headlines to see a third-string team on ducks kicking a$$. The conspiracy crap is right out. Yeah, anything is possible, but why the hell would Ducati hand it's rival ITALIAN team a double win? Obviouisly, you conspiracy guys have never had to promote a business or product of any kind.

So much nonsense here ... clearly Ducati would want their factory riders to win first and foremost but if they can't for any reason, then the next best thing is for a private Ducati to win.
To suggest that the factory is somehow undermining Althea is utter nonsense.
I do get tired of folk who claim they are 'in the know' when in fact they don't know their a55 from their elbow.

Bwwaahhhaaahhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

And people got the nuts to criticize the ZX10R. LOL.

The ducati is overbored, overcheating, overhyped, overcheating, overantiquated, overhelped and overpriced.

And it doesn't win even thou the planets, the rivers, the roads, the tracks, the oil companies, the press, the rules and Flaminis are on their favor.

Utter piece of sh1te if you ask me.
