The Japanese rider is fifth in the standings despite finishing on the podium just three times this season.

Please don't have to much hope for Haga.
I still like haga, not the factory he rides for.
But i guess besides some cirquits haga will be mid-pack.

Other riders are more hungry and other riders have realy fast bikes.

Haga still good for a fight, but not at the front nomore

I think Haga can still run at the top. Fingers crossed after his podium last round he has got a bit of his mojo back.

Nori was fighting at the front last season which wasn't so long ago and he has won a race already this season at Valencia, Xaus running into the back of anyone at 130mph is enough to knock your confidence.

Go Nori, we will be cheering you on. Roll on Silverstone

I would never discount Haga but on the last day of the recent WDW test he had yet another almighty off on his qualifier and was lucky to escape injury. With his head the way it is right now another fast crash like that is going to do his confidence a power of no good.

It's ok, they're going to keep reducing the minimum weigh limit for twins until Nori is competetive again.

Mr Bayliss was what, 0.6 quicker at the last Ducati test?

The Ducati is plenty fast enough (just look at Checa on a private bike), it just needs fresher, hungrier riders.

no question the Ducati is quick enough and certainly Fabrizio is hungry, just inconsistent and not in the top flight yet. Have to admit that Haga has seen his day and need replacement. Ducati can't stay with him much longer given the dearth of talent available. They need to be looking for a successor. Hate to see Ducati look for rules change for an edge rather than improve rider lineup.
