WSBK » Camier: It's all about eradicating the mistakes now...

Ninth in the 2010 World Superbike Championship points standings arriving at Brno, reigning BSB Champion Leon Camier admits his chief focus now is to iron out the errors that have plagued the first half of his 'rookie' WSBK campaign with Aprilia

Why is the word rookie in the headline in quotes? He is a rookie is he not?

"Since then, something has gone on. I know he's got some different equipment now..."

So he's definitely saying he doesn't have the same equipment, right?

He needs to figure out his race package and quick. With 8 minutes left on the Q session Smrz was sitting in 3rd (6th now behind Biaggi and Xaus) while Camier is down in 15th. This is Smrz's first weekend with the bike!

Why disagree with 'dog?

He said Camier said Biaggi had been given different (newer) kit.

Camier did say that.

Tell you what else: I recall a fair number of people musing at the start of the season it was a matter of time before that happened. I wasn't convinced then. But I wouldn't dismiss the idea out of hand now. And I wouldn't have dismissed it ever since Biaggi's been posting consistently faster top speeds as well as lap times.

Rossi trying to restrict Lorenzo was blatant.
Would you really bet against Max B doing something similar but more subtle, like just making sure he had the slightly better bike?

I don't think Max Biaggi is doing it - the team are, which is perfectly understandable - one of their riders is leading the championship and posting regular wins - the other is a rookie and sometimes making mistakes - which one do you think they should concentrate on?

Yamaha made sure Toseland failed in MotoGP then they purposly ruined the R1 after they won a championship. Next Ten Kate lost their way ruining Johnny Reas chances. After that Alstare quite updating Haslams GSXR. (Guinters seems to have found the pace though!?) And now Camier isn't getting the same parts as Biaggi?! (Smrz must have the rest of Biaggis good parts?!)

Holy cr@p, it's a world wide conspiracy against the UK! :-o

Shock Horror! Smrz, the Czech rider, is faster in Q1 at his home track than Camier, a Brno virgin. That must mean that Camier is a poor rider then?

As well as Leon has done on the Aprilia at times, I cant help believe he's just a bit too big for the bike.
If I was him, I'd be looking at JT's Yamaha seat for 2011 ...
