New tyre designs used to be introduced at the end of the season, but I note this year the official test teams (including Ducati)have had development tyres to test - if they have already been introduced at this round it seems a strange decision. I remember last year Suzuki struggled all year with the tyres - this year we get Ducati struggling and it appears they change the tyres mid-season!

Well he's picking the right time to step it up. Ducati are reviewing their rider options for next year and there's pressure from team sponsors Xerox not only for a championship contender but for an English-speaking member of the team. Haga is reportedly costing them a cool 800,000 Euros a year, so he needs to start delivering.

Yes Inspeedwetrust - I am aware that Biaggi is leading the championship.

Can you remember the last time that a team that was struggling with the tyres was given a new tyre mid-season? I can't.

No criticism of Haga by the way - Sick simply made a comment which appears to be valid and I made an observation.
