That's not a bad shout to be fair. He could be in with a chance, I think it all depends on Noriyuki, if he stays at Ducati I can't see Scassa getting the ride. I think that Ducati is losing faith in Fabrizio, and fast. Xerox has signed for next year as main sponsor, and they are always keen for a British rider on the bike, Johnny Rea, maybe Eugene Laverty.
I can see Davide Tardozzi trying to get Fabrizio at BMW replacing Ruben Xaus. But if Nori or Ducati decide he's had enough then maybe Scassa is a good bet. So would be Carlos Checa, he's done the business so far this year and with a Factory bike i bet he could do better still. I heard a rumour about Colin Edwards maybe leaving Tech-3...??
