wont be happy until he wina every race ! GET OVER YOURSELF, i see a lot of unhappiness ahead lol, this aint bsb2009, there is real competition here in wsbk, your a talented racer, with a bright future, but if you want to compare yourself to max,do it properly and realisticly. have a look at the points table, and check out how many wins hes had this year,on the same bike as yourself.

Good on you Leon for being determined and having clear goals! Ignore the two ******* who have already posted - they are proof that it is possible to take a dump and let it grow, live and learn to type! *****s!

Next year will be the litmus test, this one is for learning your way round Leon. Yes WSB may not be BSB but this boy can race and i think he'll show more of that in 2011. He's always been good, not just the year he won BSB. He made that Bike Animal Honda look good and everyone in the know knew different.
And to top it all off he is a thoroughly nice bloke

@ tardozzi.. Your a thick illiterate Brit knocker.. get a life! its not all about italians and you..
Its Leon's 1st year on that bike & no way can you compare him to Biaggi as there isn't the experience to compare!
I bet you are 1 of them posters that hate all brits..
But hey,we kick yer ars@es on plenty of occasions PMSL

Tardozzi you really are a troll. Leon is not saying he WILL or SHOULD win every race, just that he won't be HAPPY unless he wins every race. Whats wrong with this? How can you criticise someone for having high expectations of themselves?? MUG!

@ the little fan girls, read the post !i said he was a talented racer with a bright future, and he has impressed me since his bike animal days ,before his crash, and he is a nice bloke too,so dont get your little panties in a twist,to the other thick fuks i am a brit and i support them, lol did you really think i was an italian ,ya sad fuk,re -the article he was saying he was faster than max here, quicker than max there,he could learn a lot if he looked at the points table,oh while im here, his ex team manager with all his knowledge said max should not be in wsbk, cos hes past it,he should look at the points table as well

I just think it's funny that whenever Max wins a race the forum goes mad saying that it's only because the Aprilia is so fast.
(Personally I think it helps that Max gets out of the corners so well...)

I know this is Leon's first year in WSBK, but if the RSV4 has such a huge advantage (some poster's have even said Aprilia are cheating!) then why isn't Leon finishing in the Top 5 every race?

Let's be honest- the RSV4 is a quick bike in a straight line, but who knows what it is like in the twisty bits?
Leons comments say an awful lot...

Leon's pace is far more indicitive of its true speed, Max is just something special this year.
Bit like the R1 and the Spies effect of last year.

While I agree he can't be compared to max...he should have the same bike? Aprillia will want him to do well to lower Max's asking price each year.

One thing about Leon and the comments from tardozzi, he does like himself a little bit too much i have to agree.
He his signature tattooed on his chest...now if that's not self appreciation i don't know what is!

The fact he can match Max when he doesn't make mistakes and the set-up is right is promising. Max is a great rider and has loads more experience than Leon so to get anywhere near him at any track in your first year is good. I wonder if the Aprilia, which some say is close to being a motogp bike, is trickier than other bikes to set up?
As has already been said, this is his learning year, next year much more will be expected of him.
