A masterful ride from Eugene, which goes to show he is the best rider in WSS. The Turk had no answer and didn't look happy on the podium.
Great ride from Gino.

He did 2 or 3 days of riding at silverstone before this weekend. Plus, this is his home race. So a little bit more edge compared to Kenan this weekend is to be expected. You cannot say for sure which ever is the better rider. Looking at the points table one should be able to say Kenan is better atm but Laverty's bike failed in Brno, so that gap could be atributed to bad luck. Or his crash at Portimao, which was Laverty's own mistake.

Anyway, the title isn't over yet. 3 more races to go, and I have no doubt we'll get more of what we saw today between the two.

I watched that crash at the original start again. Laverty chops the front of Lascorz PROPER.

In the past some people have accused Kenan for being too aggressive, but at least he hasn't caused this sort of mess. There goes your clean overtaking move...

Laverty's lucky he didn't crash too.

Everyone congratulates laverty on a great race, forgetting that he wiped out lascorz and tamburini big time with a really bad move at the start. These are the sort of crashes that end careers or worse. I am sure buckmaster will be quiet on this one

Nothing against Laverty, great ride and deserved his victory. BUT, had Kenan wiped out Lascorz and the other guy you just know that Whit and Barnicle would have got on their high horses and been lamenting the Turk's dangerous and reckless style.

In fact, when Kenan put a slightly late breaking move on someone (think it was Laverty), Whit had the gall to say what a bad pass it was because the rider had ti pick up his bike a bit. They're so unashamedly anti Kenan that it's just beyond embarassing.

Eugene, in his rookie year in 2009, finished ahead of the Turk in the c/ship and he whooped him again today.
Laverty is a class act, no mistake.
