Checa: I thought 'it is a year to have fun, to ride the bike differently, to have a nice experience, meet new people and try to enjoy it…' Perhaps this approach made me happier and freer on the bike!

if only the fifty points at miller had come his way he would already had a great season for a privateer. Lets hope he has a podium or two more to come.

I'm with ya on that one RawDawg. I don't remember anyone having two consecutive DNFs from the same mechanical or electrical issues ever in the nearly 30 years I've been watching motorcycle racing. I've seen a few times where a rider has crashed in the same corner two or even three times on a weekend...possibly in two consecutive races at a given track but never the same mechanical/electrical DNF.

Carlos has impressed very much in 2010 if the factory team do end up dropping Haga they should replace with Carlos who has good experience of riding a works Ducati bike.
