I have to say, Cal is a great rider but I dont see what all the hype is about and i dont thin he deserves a Motogp ride next year (maybe the year after, when he proves himself a bit more) hes only had 2 race wins and his team mate isnt that far behind. JR is a different story. hes helped develop that dog of a bike into a race winner and even his team mate is in awe of what he can do with the bike (and he has more race wins than cal this year) Haslam was amazing at the start of the season and Biaggi has been brilliant and consistant :)

@ djh

'That dog of a bike' won the world title in '07 and placed 4th in '08 just 30pts off 2nd in the table. Checa was already winning on the bike before Rea arrived, so it was already a race winning package. So how has Rea 'developed' it into a race winner? And if he's developed it so well how come he's nowhere on some tracks like Misano?

Taking into consideration what each rider has beneath them and only reflecting on race day's and not qualifying i would say Leon Haslam followed by Checa and then Scassa with JR and Biaggi in close attention would be my order of whom has impressed most this season!!

I didn't see the box for "Ben Spies". Sure he isn't in WSBK this year but compared to the currently competition he'd still kick everyone's ass while giving them all a roundhouse kick to the face ala Chuck Norris.

Deal with it.
