I was going to say that isn't fair to the national series but considering Max and Tom have been no where near a WSBK podium this year it's probably correct to say some national series are not so high. But that's why they are national series.

Not to take anything away from Tom as a rider because he's on a crap bike and has shown good compared to Chris V, but he still walked BSB on that bike. And Max has had a terrible year - Rea has all but made him invisible. And he goes out and wins.

Don't forget that Neukirchner (and Rea) has tested a lot in Assen this year, much more than any other rider. He had probably the best bike on the grid last IDM weekend.

just a thought !!!!
Why not have a wsbk 2 series where you can qualify from all the national series throughout the world (say top 6) and the you could be promoted and relegated up and down the 1 and 2 series depending on your level in the championships. BSB IDM AMA Italian Japanese Etc Etc. Would be a great shop window for teams and riders, i think it could also bring in a lot more major sponsorship worldwide.
