F@cksake JT wtf have you 'misjudged' at each meeting this year - really hoped for a whole lot more from you this year mate and it just isn't coming good at all. The lack of any sign of ANY type of consistent recovery during the season, or even during a race - like ANY of them - show's something has changed within the rider we seen do many gutsy performances from in years gone by - Pre-MotoGP that is. Very dissapointing and I still hope you can turn it around as it's still a very steep and precarious slippery slope your fingernails are clinging desperately to...

Can't help wondor what has gone on between Toseland and YMI. I can only speculate that JT isn't getting the results that he's claimed he would get, let alone what the team expect, and made himself look a bit silly. It looked very frosty in that garage after SP1.
AFAIK there has been no news indictating why the relationship has turned sour.
I hope this isn't the end for James, he still doesn't look very confident, but the whole "I'm mortified by my GP failure" attitude is getting old. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't get a top ride for next year.
Negative my comments may be but I am a Toseland fan, good luck to him for Imola.

IMO the point at which it really started to go pear shaped for JT, if hadn't before, was when Rossi tested the R1 at Brno, four weeks after breaking his leg and was faster than James had been all the previous race weekend after just forty-six laps. Crutchlow used Rossis feedback at Silverstone and took the double, Toseland didn't.
He was thrown a lifeline by Yamaha and brought in as the experienced hand to sort the new for 2010 R1. Sadly he's come up short as team leader and developement rider and his crew now know that. It appears his head's gone down and what little confidence he did have has vanished.
Blaming the mechanics is an excuse even JT would struggle to justify Bill..

I'm really surprised just how inconsistent JT has been this year. Even though he's suffered due to his lack of results during superpole he's made some decent runs thru the grid to finish strong on several occasions.

What I don't understand is how he's gone about his season. Even as a rookie Spies brought along a crew chief he trusted and when things weren't going to his liking in the garage he insisted on bringing in one of his old mechanics from the States. He knew if he failed it would be on him so he did everything possible to succeed.

Why can't a 2 time champ insist on having things exactly the way he wants it??

Crash got the quote source wrong. "Very Disappointed" came from Yamaha, Massimo, what's left of his fans, and people who don't even race or know Toseland. Epic fail of a rider.

(Hink there is more going on in that team than any posters know. Think since last year yamaha have wanted to drop him and don't think he has had the help he deserves from the team. Since his fall out with edwards. Jt is still a top rider needs a good team and crew roUnd him like spies did last year, he took his crew chief to moto gp who he had since ama days. Its not just a rider u need to win races its the hole package, that's why rossi keeps burgess and so on. Jt will be back ten kate would be best as he knows the team and there was never any political crap there. Don't forget yamaha moto gp and steralgada are based next to each other and I bet they could mess up any riders career if wrong words were said. Stop slating jt. But in fairness crash is home of rider bashers. Even if there leading a championship as in bsb.

No Crew Chief left to poach. Everyone knows to guard their Crew-Chief. The must all snicker as he walks by peering to see if he could get a word in edgewise with their Crew Chief. A scarlet letter was placed around his neck forever by Colin Edwards. Go...your Piano Gig awaits.

Again the great white hope(s) for the UK bite the dust, and again the old stalwarts and underrated riders do the job without fuss!
Cal Crashslow and Crasher Rea bust themselves up forgetting the races are on Sunday! Pair of dolts, must be such an inspiration to have this clown in motoGP next year!
What attracts UK fans to losers when they have better, more likeable riders to support?
