Suzuki have really shot themselves in the foot on this one. They could have, and should have won this years WSBK championship, but their reluctance to develop the gixer was a BIG mistake.

In a championship where success is related to the sales of road bikes, what point is there in not putting the resources behind a bike, team and ride obviously capable of winning the championship? I understand that the economy isn't great, but it costs a fraction of the budget they use for Moto GP to win the WSBK championship, and they ain't setting Moto GP alight!

Such a shame, but good on Leon for getting outta there. BMW are looking good for next year, if he does go to them.

Maybe that's what Suzuki are angling for. Alstare should looked toward another manufacture IMO.

agree that sykes would be a good choice. must say didnt rate him last year but he is really getting the kawi to sing now.still think 2 bikes in wsbk would be better as motogp bike is major **** box
