Good on Haslam for going to a factory team that's willing to spend the money in development and support.

Good on BMW for signing a rider who will produce results.

Win-win situation.

At the start of this season he wasn't one of the favourites. Next year he will be so I hope that he and the bike are up for the challenge.
I think he is but we will have to wait and see
Good luck Leon

Nobody can doubt that Leon has earned his place in this full factory team. I hope and expect that he will quickly gel with the bike and be showing his more senior team mate the way around.

By the way, that photo could almost be Ron in his younger days.

Brilliant news,if anyone doesn't know the Haslam family, they are a great unit and Ron's dedication to Leon has helped a lot in what he is today.I hope the BMW is up to it next year after seeing Corser up at the front but then fading as the race went on,nice to see them in World Superbike.

What fantastic news ! Well done BMW for having the foresight to go in for Leon.I tipped him as world champion this year and i remain convinced that if he had got the support he should of had from Suzuki He would be World Champion this year.On the BMW he is nailed on for the title . I have tunnel vision on that and cannot see anyone one beating him.Corser is way past his best and has looked eratic at times this season. And Rubens is just not up to it full stop.Best news this year. @ Ian S i agree with you about the photo.
