So what now for Shakey???

I'm a big Shakey fan,but have to say that he has under preformed on the World stage, for whatever reason he has not delivered fully what he himself would have expected.
The rides are fast running out for Shakey. The Hannspree seat is now gone (although i would never have seen that one happening) Im sure that all world Ducati seats are taken for next season.I honestly can't see where Shakey could fit back in, especially with 2 factory rides gone(Xerox),2 outsiders taking the top yam rides & Suzuki looking likely to only field the 1 bike...
I would say that the BSB becons... but there is a lack of decent rides available there as well.

@ Tarzaan

I too read that rumour, and would be totally over the money if Shakey got to ride effectively what Camier was on this season. However that team was revealed yesterday with a big press launch & release and much detail was given about the team, the structure, the bikes, Nori Haga, but there was no mention at all of the team running a 2nd bike...

Fingers Crossed.

@Assen03, i really hope he doesn't AMA is on its A5S, like @Tarzan says the rumor of him being Hagas team mate, however if Biaggi quits Haga will take his seat which means DFX/Borchiani will have no rider. So make way 4 SHAKEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

@ Green Monster...
Where did all these rumours come from about Biaggi retiring? I'm no fan of his, but the poor guy has just won the championship! lol
To be honest, i'd be surprised if Aprillia used Haga to front their factory effort. After the season he has had, & admitting he has the fear & such like he is a bit of an unknown & a big risk if they want to defend their new crown. For a world championship winning team they would surely want a ride that was currently at a higher level than Haga? Im not saying that would be Shane, but there are plenty of top riders out there struggling to find competitive rides.

you have to wonder a little why he struggled to get a decent finish. checas bike looked much quicker, shades of when ellison was with checa at tech 3 i wonder. checa isnt going to join a team without being 100% the number 1 rider with all the resources going his way.

For me it was all about qualifying and starts. He qualified OK, but then always had a crap start, with this weaks (pun) excuse "oil" being standard each week. During the race he was always on the times and picking up places, but you can't win from the back!
