Most riders can do 120 laps at a good pace when they need to, but it all changes when they have to ride a bike on the edge. thats when we see if they suit the bike. it only takes a small problem to chuck it down the road when you are on the limit.

2006 British Supersport - 1st Crutchlow / 2nd Laverty
2009 World Supersport - 1st Crutchlow / 2nd Laverty

Don't get too carried away Eugene. The last bloke that got on the Yam to test after a race weekend was a whole lot faster than JT's superpole time not 3 tenths slower. He'd never ridden the R1 before and he was injured.

win lots of races but until he can deal with the pressure of winning a Championship, he'll probably finish 2nd again. A shame as he is a fantastic motorcycle racer and deserves a Championship, but he needs to learn that you can't win things lying on the tarmac. You might all say he doesn't crash often and this is true. But he crashes at the wrong times.

to be fair to laverty, this year he won 8 races, kenan won 3 but, kenan finished on the podium in every race ,and laverty had a big engine blow up in a race, and scored no points,so he could have won the title on merit were it not for bad luck, ps /dont hear simon buckfaster on here talking about his bike building genius after that one
