"I am not familiar with Toselands career. Why didnt he go to GP with Ducati or Honda? Seems hee should have made the next step with a manufacturer he won championships with."

Ducati chose not to keep Toseland after 2005 because they weren't satisfied with his performance that year. As for Honda I think they did make a GP offer to Toseland to go to a satilite team if he could have won the 2008 WSBK title.
Not sure why Toseland chose Yamaha, maybe because he could go sooner rather than later. He may have said that he didn't have anything left to prove in WSBK after winning two title's. My memories are vague but this is what is comming to mind.

If Honda wouldn't promote Colin why in the hell would they promote JT? Who have they ever promoted to GPs from WSBK? The only names that come to mind are Tamada and Nicky but they both came from national series.

'If Honda wouldn't promote Colin why in the hell would they promote JT?'

Ok rawdawg, we know you have a problem with JT for whatever reason, but thats a strange comment. Colin got a 2nd overall and a 1st overall in his last 2 honda years. What did JT get in only 2 years with honda? Oh yes, a 2nd and a 1st. Not sure where that comment comes from but you can feel the hate within it lol!

So far this thread has not gone to ****t yet, despite the few baiters out to get reactions lol!

Good luck to JT and all the other riders for 2011....!!!!

More bikes = more entertainment! WSB 2011 will make moto gp look even more dull than 2010 in my opinion!

News we have known for a long time but good it is finally official. Wishing JT and Badovini good luck in this new WSB team can only be good to have more teams on the grid. I trust they will get the factory support and will be in a position to fight for podiums and even wins. Can't wait for 2011!!!!!!!
