I think Raw might be right and I don't think it was a knock so much against JT but a statement against Honda's support of promoting wsbk riders.

Does anyone know if a Honda wsbk rider has ever been tapped for a Honda motogp ride?? I can't think of one.

Maybe with Spies & Cal making the jump Rea has a chance but Honda's history seems to be against him.

darkwaknight, whats this about haga and the cough medicine?

It was that Haga took some medication (cough Medicine) and thus tested positive for some silly drug that was actually a herb thus lost 25 points from a win (South africa i think) and banned from the final round UK thus CE won by default!!

@ stewie T!!!
Are you having a laugh mate... Laverty for title contender!!! lol. Not in next years Championship.
Thats bordering on hilarious!!! Crutchlow came as WSS champ and he had a totally mediocre season IMO!! Done nothing to warrant a MotoGP ride but thats another story!!!
Laverty may get a win or 2 but a shot at the title..... He has 2 hopes. 1 is Bob and the other is NO!!!!!

Where the beer?

Reading all the posts by the armchair experts, psyquics and racers on these boards sure beats any good porno site or tv show I can think of.

From now on any predictions of races and championships should be followed by "wishful thinking by the poster".

Since the bias stink so bad.

Whoops I meant to disagree with you.

Anyway that is a good point. Bayliss being the rider he was, cost himself the title with his crash at Assen and his one at Brands. Otherwise he would have beaten Edwards by decent margin.
I know it's would have/could have, but as you brought it up....

Exactly LeeHigh1. I think by mid year that year, when Colin had finished second to Bayliss all year to that point Honda kind of pulled the plug on ol' Colin. I know he stopped receiving updates to the bike by Laguna Seca and that his crew removed the forward engine mounting bolts to stop the chatter Colin had complained of all year. From that point forward Colin won every race for the rest of the season. Due to Honda not being happy with Colin's criticisms he wasn't going to have team the next year had he stayed in WSBK. He moved to MotoGP with Aprilia due to Honda saying he could stay with them but only on a satellite team. Many felt he should have gotten the ride Nicky did as a reward from Honda for his stunning come back against Bayliss. Honda however doesn't seem to reward their riders unless your name is Freddy Spencer.

@ Archie

If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, we would all have a great Christmas. by your standards, there arent too many real champs. Are there? i suppose the dogfight they had at the last race that year was a gift from Troy to Colin too? I mean, he must have let Colin win...Right? Hey Jlo, you listening? Your not a real champ! Rossi fell. Hey Stoney, you either bud...the others didn't have a good enough bike or talent in 2007. Rossi..
