I'm guessing they will be riding 4-stroke kawasaki's??
But this will be a very interesting championship, we should get a few good riders in it, WSBK's equivalent to the Red Bull Rookies Cup.

Well the Rookies Cup is fully free to participate with proper prototype bikes so I can't see this as a big competition to them. But yeah at this price its good to have another talent building championship!

The IDM R6 cup is a great series but the IDM is not a world championship. I imagine entry fees, tyre costs etc all take a sharp hike when its part of WSBK. It's not cheap but it looks affordable, particularly if the rider keeps the bike. I wonder how much Kawasaki are helping out though? Good marketing opportunity with the CBR just arrived. Will be good racing I'm sure.

18,950 Euro not that much if you have the talent. Finding that money will be hard, but if you have the talent, the rewards of winning would be enormous.

That's the problem. There are very talented riders out there that do not have the funds, or the marketing know how, or the contacts to make it affordable.

On the same note this is part of a World Championship, and shouldn't be cheap (IMO).

Redbull rookies is free but obviously you have to pay your own expenses, so it worls out expensive. This you have to pay the entry and the expenses. So will be looking a lot more.
