Tough call between Bayliss and Spies. Bayliss was great, but Spies won the title first time out whilst riding a Yam which was not as good as the Ducati.

This article is full of mistakes... Corser was champion in 2005 (nine years after his last succees) and Ben Spies' 14 wins not a record. Doug Polen won 17 in 1991. You should correct it...

I am a huge Ben Spies fan, but with only one year he can't be the best of a whole decade I think. Bayliss is the best, and then Haga, for me!

"Gotta be Troy Bayliss.. Followed by JT & Ben Spies"

LOL.

JT?

er, I think Colin would be up there WAAAAAAAY before JT.

I will always go with Bayliss and Edwards #1 and #2 for the 2000's.

There can only be one... Haslam!

er I mean Bayliss.

I found it difficult to rate Spies based on a single season from a decade. He had one of the best seasons ever and the very best for a rookie but he hasn't done as much for the class as most of the other guys.
The post above is right. Polen has the record for most wins in a season not Spies.

1. Bayliss
2. Haga
3. Toseland
4. Edwards
5. Spies
6. Corser
7. Biaggi
8. Hodgson
9. Xaus
10. Laconi

CRASH you do not appear to know your WSBK history, and not for the first time.
