Of course he's been advised to get into MotoGP, isn't that what every single bike racer in world aims to do!!?? It would be a massive shock if this wasn't his ultimate aim. But wanting something, being advised to do something and actually achieving it are a million miles, a lot of cash and huge slice of luck apart. To say this is an non-story is an understatement - standard Crash festive season guff.

Crutchlow managed a grand total of two wins onboard top-class HM Plant machinery and was outperformed by Haslam for most of the season, yet he's the one who's ended up in GP?

I think Lowes will be the real deal, especially compared to Cal. He's not got the arrogance or excuses Cal loves to spout either.

Just as long as he doesn't turn into a big head like Cal. For those who don't know who Sam is - you will by this time next year. Check out his past record. His twin brother is just as fast

how i love the british public. Full of armchair experts. Watch sam next year. He'll be fast. Given that we've just gone 1year without a brit in moto gp it would be nice to see a few more people get behind cal rather than knocking him.

@ Richard Mushet

2 wins on HM Plant machinery? That was back in 2008, how is that relevant now?

And in the meantime Crutchlow has won a world championship in pretty convincing style. It seems to me that Lowes' first ambition should be to emulate Cal's domination in the Supersport class before thinking further ahead to MotoGP.

@ adam83,

I think the problem is that Cal really didn't do anything to deserve to be in MotoGP. Most feel he is only there as Brits token rider.

Had he achieved the MotoGP dream by his own merits I'm sure people would be carrying a different tune.

Of course I could also be wrong as hell lol.
