If the bike does turn out to be a ripper Vermin could be an interesting outside bet for the title. People forget what a quality rider Chris really is, but if the knee can heal quick enough a fit Vermeulen on a fast bike is a true contender considering what he managed on the Suzuki in GP, and on the early Ten Kate WSBK when Ducati were totally dominant.

I wish him all the best, he's a quality rider. I am just a little worried that his accident has put some fear into him and kept him off bikes for too long - he has a lot to overcome but I am sure that a rider of CV's calibre will do it as long as his heart is in it. Kawasaki is fielding a bit of an invalid team and I would expect Tom Sykes to be the team's main focus initially.

In the immortal words of that pratt Sean Emmett, 'You never lose talent!'
Chris Verms has bucket loads of talent. They don't give WSS championships, WSBK wins, motogp wins and pole positions away in Christmas crackers.
Nothing mediocre here. As said, if his knee is good and the new bike proves to be fast i'm sure he'll do very well. Used to love watching him sliding that old ten kate honda! boy's a legend!
