Wonder if the MotoGP squad will have a title sponsor either? Would be pretty weak sauce if just cause the departure of Rossi/Fiat/Monster that the M1/Spies/Lorenzo had to rock the corporate YRT look.

But then a Rockstar Energy Drink branded bike gonna look all that good? Lol.

I'm extremely surprised--almost shocked, really--that Sterilgarda aren't sponsoring the team this year. Italian company, Italian team, and Italian rider with Melandri, and as passionate as the Italians are about bike racing. Intended or not, Sterilgarda's withdrawal speaks volumes about the perceptions of the team's prospects for this year.

As for Rockstar Energy Drink and the factory Yamaha MotoGP squad, I don't see anything happening there. Rockstar already sponsors the "factory" *Suzuki* teams in U.S. roadracing and Supercross/Motocross. I don't think they'd cross/mix motorbike brands like that with the resultant potential for confusion/conflict. I think they'll just stick to individual rider sponsorships--e.g., Lorenzo--a la Red Bull.

easy easy pals, I would say this stock-like livery can be a great mind game in reward:) while others will be full of sponsors' sticks on fairings the Yamaha will ewentually win as "stock bike just taken from regular road"
nice try:) I'm looking for the same move in MotoGP

Of course they don't have sponsor - Rossi isn't there. Their current riders don't have the draw and the attention like Rossi. Everyone wants to be associated with a winner and it's understandable why they can't find a spon.........wait, what? Wrong series?

I look forward to seeing Laverty and Marco on track no matter what's on the fairing's. Good luck to them. Dawg give it a break man, add another beer to that fat gut of your's and just try to enjoy the racing this year without crying Rossi waaaa like a baby.

Weird that there is no sponsor. Rawdawgs explanation doesn't really make sense since this is WSBK and not MotoGP.

Wonder if Yamaha made a deal with Sterilgarda to move their funds to MotoGP rather than WSBK.
