Looks like Troy and Marco might get swallowed up if they ain't careful. Interesting mix though, should be a good race. I am surprised to see Max going as well as he is in light of the last couple of years at PI. Good for Guintoli, Smrz and Leon.

Two crashes for Rea today, one in SP2. You have to think that he's struggling to control the bike with those injured hands. Perhaps he needs to start looking at the weekend as an exercise in damage limitation and to not push so hard. The worst thing would be yet more injury before round 2.

Checa on top good job by him, and indeed a little surprise that biaggi is second. Also a surprise is mr. Waters at place 11. Can anyone tell me if he is a wildcard rider or not because I don't know much about the guy.

looks like the kawasaki is still not a patch on the top bikes you have to take all the pre season chat with a pinch of salt because when the light goes green the bull stops
