The Spaniard was never challenged for the win once he assumed the lead of the race on lap three.

You won't be rejoicing if you're one of the poor sods relying on Eurosprout player.

Coverage was dire. Loads of buffering and losing of the signal. The only thing they managed to broadcast clearly was the sodding adverts.

Suzuki think I'm going to look kindly on their bikes when they interrupt the racing to spam me about them the can f**k right off.
As for Alfalfa Romeo I wouldn't touch one with a stick whatever they do.

Good showing from Haslam, Laverty and, all things considered, Camier.
(Checa & Biaggi who doubted it)?

Good race, not perfect, but just good. Two top spots very predictable, just as I expected. But behind them it was a proper war. Great Haslam third, and I think there's more to come from him. I think there is a great rivalry emerging in Yamaha's garage, both riders look quite even. Major disappointment - Corser, Haga, Toseland (three written off veterans?) and whole Effenbert Team. Guintoli's tragic start and following retirement and Smrz's bland performance. WTF? Looking forward to race 2.

Hedgeholer, totally agree. Ever since Eurosport started using MS Silverlight the Eurosport player has been problematic. It was much better when they used Media Player.

Well, I fortunately have at least pan-European Eurosport with English commentary. But there are also another possibilities of watching this on the internet, although none of them is probably as good as the official Eurosport stream. And yes, Rea was disappointing but not bland (until his off track trip). Don't forget he's injured. But overall I don't think he's a serious title contender. Haslam and maybe Laverty will finish in front of him.
