The Donington Park round of the World Superbike Championship is given the go-ahead after the FIM granted homologation.

So does the slippery surface change remain in the Melbourne hairpin section that they originally put in to extend the track to achieve GP status? Has there been ANY resurfacing or has all the work been on the trackside stuff?

Glad it's back on the calender. Went there in 07 and it reminded me of Oran Park in Sydney. Open viewing and undulating. Not one of these designer circuits that don't care about the paying public. Even the toilets being sub standard was like O.P.
