1st poster....

Badovini is on a BMW not a Pedercini Kawasaki, and he was runaway Superstock champ last year, again on a BMW....Mark Aitchison is the second Pedercini rider....its all there in the script!

Top tens will be difficult given the number of better bikes on the grid, but Rolfo may break into the top ten if other riders are having problems.

I will be interested to follow Bryan staring in Superstock for Pedercini this year. He outscored Aitchison at Pillip Island and in Superstock trim the Pedercini bike may be more competitive.

Plenty of data for Kawasaki to collect. I hope they make this bike a winner and it would be great to see Pedercini move up the field, they've been in the championship for years now it's about time they got a break.

@ Shrieker

Read the article again mate...........I think you will find that the reference to Badovini is from Rolfo who was saying that he nearly ran into Badovini (BMW) in one race.:-)

badovini, didnt perform too well at phillip island, he was always last..... and nevr look like moving up...staring was ok, but rolfo showed some good moves.

shame about money to buy seat if the rider will always finish last...

This might be adding fuel to the flames, but Badovini is mentioned twice.
Once for running on in a corner this year on the BMW, and once with reference to him riding for Pedercini in 2008.

I believe the first poster thought Badovini was riding for Pedercini this year and pp916 corrected him.
Badovini is riding the italian satellite BMW with Toseland this year.

You would think that whilst the ZX10 will benefit from a lot of development over this year, so will the BMW.
The S1000R is probably similar to the Aprilia in so much as it's a powerful, agile (nervous) bike perhaps lacking in stability?
I tend to think that all the marques will continue to improve this year, with the exception of Suzuki and Ducati.

Badovini was Euro Superstock champ last season winning 9 of the 10 races on a works supported S1000RR, BMW have rewarded him by placing him in the satellite WSB squad alongside Toseland.

Maybe the BMW is just overcomplicated? It has a huge amount of their own electronics on it which seem very difficult to set-up and mask what the real bike underneath is actually like....judging from comments by the riders at PI it seems to lack any consistency even between races on the same day ie it is seriously fickle. To try and understand the base bike Haslam had all the electronics taken off during winter testing and they were reintroduced in stages to gain a better understanding of each elements effect....doesn't seem to have helped as much as they would have liked tho'!
