Give Fabrizio a shakedown test on the GSV-R! I know Hopkins will ride it at Jerez, but with the BSB clash for the Estoril race, Fabrizio should ride it then, he's ridden an 800cc GP bike on Bridgestones, so surely he's Suzuki's next best bet for a Bautista replacement?

When he rode the Pramac Ducati at Brno in 2009 he did about 3 laps and then came in complaining that his arms were hurting due to the braking so not sure he would be the best replacement on the GSV-R.

True, but he performed better than expected on the WCM R1 based MotoGP bike - so he might be worth a go as a stand in, however I would imagine that the stand in for when Hopper can't ride will be the factory test rider.

I expect Suzuki had their knuckles rapped over this weekend and will in future have to ensure that a stand in attends all the rounds in case of injury to the number one rider.

Anyone know who the stand in for JT will be at Donnington and Assen?
