A story involving JT? Time to unleash the barrage of negative comments directed toward him. I'm not really a fan of his but never understood why some of those who comment on crash are filled with such splenetic hatred of him!

I for one wish him well anda quick recovery as should any true fan of the sport!

I don't want to get drawn into either defending or slating JT, but it is possible for riders to prefer different settings simply because they have different styles of riding and one set up isn't necessarily better or worse than the other. One rider's choices might also be better for certain tracks but not so good at others. The differences that are thrown up by having input from two riders can suggest directions for improvement, hopefully adapting the best bits of each, assuming they aren't incompatible overall. It can save a lot of time testing vsriables by halving the individual rider's workload.

AB sounds very team-oriented and humble when he says "I hope James returns soon because it's hard work and I need his input".

Humility and a willingness to work as a team are rare things in motorsport, especially for JT (CE, and CC if the rumours are correct).
