i watched the race three times yesterday and swear checa biaggi and rea were no more than a few tenths apart when they first got past haga.rea couldnt match their pace in race two but had a great day overall.

It is a pity that Rea blows hot and cold..When he is on form he is as good as anyone in the world, just a pity he is on form only a few times in the season. He reminds me of Luca Cadalora,Mick Doohan used to say that when Cadalora was on form he was by far the best in the world...thank god he is only on form twice a year.

2 excellent rides from JR on a track where in fairness he was expected to do well (with it being Ten Kate's test track). Look at Xaus though and you start to realise how well Rea is performing on the bike.

But the real test is still to come. If he can carry the momentum through onto Monza (where he DNF'd last year), his season could really start coming together.
