Biaggi was cruising to the win but couldn't be bothered to follow the rules given to all riders at the beginning of the weekend. Haga and Haslam both went to the left-hand side of the run-off within the white lines, but Max couldn't be bothered and dropped almost 20 points that he could've caught Checa with. My heart pumps p155 for the Roman dwarf.

Rea, Haslam and Smrz were unlucky after Checa clipped Rea and started the traditional Monza first-lap mayhem that we've become accustomed to. I thought that incident had cost Eugene a podium chance, never mind the win, but he didn't panic and showed what a class act he is.

Biaggi still manages to finish in front of Checa even after that ride through penalty. Ah... Life is not fair sometimes. Anyway Aprilia & tried to cheat!
Karma is a b1tch.
Great day for Team Yamaha Italia & Team GBR... They cleaned up!

Fabulous race - congratulations to all the riders on a great show.

Laverty - amazing!

Oh Max - all you had to do was slow a bit on rejoining the circuit to ensure you didn't gain time to avoid a penalty, but a beginers error - he accelerated as soon as he rejoined and obviously gained at least half a second.

If Biaggi loses this championship it will be down to his silliness at Donnington and Monza.

Time for that silly chicane to opened up a bit - that accident at the start could have been very nasty.

Great race Eugene,to come back like that after having an excursion was the sign of a pure racers heart.

Just for you Elite,Biaggi had the fastest bike, cut the chicane so cut seconds off his lap so his fastest bike did not win and i cheered and laughed so much when little Max the slappa ya face had to come in for a stop and go and a cry.

@Richard Mushet
Exactly!! It was pure ignorance from Biaggi's side. I'am sure he knew about the rule and He clearly had enough space and time to fit in the corridor. But why would he bother...

Brilliant day for Eugene, stalked MM to perfection for the win in race 2. What a mistake by Biaggi though, 5 secs in the lead and under no pressure misses out the chicane and gains 0.5s on the lap. Rules is rules and Nori Haga was penalised exactly the same way for a similar mistake in race 1. I reckon Max has a lot of p*ssed off team to apologise to now.

Well done to Laverty for a greatly run race, capitalizing well on a Melandri's error.
Absolutely gutted for Nori, missing out on the podium he was trying so hard
If it wasnt for that Gangly Buffoon Camier cutting across Nori's line under the brakes causing him to run through halting his momentum.....well done Camier you ended up in the gravel soon after !
Either way im disappointed after being barged by Fabrizio into Lesmo he couldnt come back, despite nearly passing him on the outside.......if only he
had Max's turbod engine.

Double Irish win, its about time Ireland now has a top international racer, will be looking forward to seeing that Irish flag on top of the podium again throughout the season, well done Eugene.
