I am sorry for him - that was probably his best chance of a win this season.

He had too many strong finishes ruined by crashes last year - I hope it is not repeated this season.

Perhaps a different make of bike would suit him better?

I think Aprilia must have been hoping for a big step up from Leon this year, perhaps taking the challenge to Biaggi more often.

He had the misfortune to contract glandular fever which set him back in the early rounds, but you'd have to think that unless he can start to deliver some consistently strong finishes then Aprilia might start to question their choice of No. 2 rider.

I think it would be wrong to question Camiers ability, but i do agree that he may not be suited to the Aprilia.

Id like to see him on a different bike, especially a Yamaha, as we all know what he did in BSB on the R1. Different bikes suit different riders so maybe he would be more comfortable on the R1, who knows.

well hes had all the testing on it. and hes on it for the second year,so i think he should be doing more on it,its a cracker bike, what would rea/haslam, do on that thing, i reckon its time for him to payback the faith aprilla has shown him,and get it up there to the front with max,the odd appearance on the podium aint enough for that rocket ship

Buelliful .

I agree, I just think he's too big for that small bike. We've seen from BSB how well he goes on the R1, maybe that would be better for him next year. However, he has gained valuable experience from racing with Aprilia and Max Biaggi these 2 seasons.

That should have been a win!!

Hard to support this guy when he makes so many mistakes/crashes, especailly when its clear he could be faster than Biaggi but for technical issues only his bike gets.

Hugely dissapointed in him.

His size and suitability for the Aprilia isnt a valid argument just look at what Simoncelli did in 09 for in a one off race, tall lad with an out there style the complete opposite to Max. Camier can win on this bike he just needs to sort it

Most of the other brits would be doing a much better job than leon at the moment, i dont think he'll have a choice about staying with aprilia to be honest...

HAS to be doing better on that bike - as of now there are no excuses...
