Another new dawn..?

How many more..?

Whilst being part of the Honda 'family' is of course attractive, Jonny isn't going to MotoGP with the results he's currently getting, even if Dovizioso gets the chop for 2012.

It'll be Marquez IMO.

So unless things change by the end of the season and he is winning regularly he really needs a change of team to one that can give him a bike that works for him.

Honda are well aware of Johnnys potential and a MotoGP seat awaits him as he has shown patience and loyalty with a bike that is clearly a slow, temperamental POS

What have any of his team mates done with the same equipment below them (in fact what has anyone else done on a Fireblade)? That suggests the bike is rubbish and were it not for this kids raw talent hed be nowhere too

I recall watching Checa struggling in 2009 on the second Ten Kate Honda - what position is Checa currently in this season on a bike thats capable.....?

Neukirchner - Went from a podium contender on the Suzuki in 2009 to a last 3 contender in 2010 after getting on the Fireblade

Xaus seems to be headed in the same direction this season.......

Checa did dominate Miller on that bike, then Spies came along and Checa got a 2nd and Kyonari 4th in race one, Checa crashed out of 2nd in race 2. With last year going so wrong all of the sudden at the same track its hard to just blame the bike. Miller is a different kind of track and riders have to adapt and be able to set up a bike (favors the old guard like Checa, Biaggi or Spies due to Yosh experience) Jonny is a great rider but might be lacking in these areas and that is what he has to show he can do if he's going to get a shot at GP's. Raw talent isn't enough at this level, racecraft, setup, maximizing points is what makes champions and wins championships.

I agree with some of your points bill but is it really the same bike between 2009 and 2010 so many people have struggled and so many different swing arms shocks forks, for example have been tried maybe honda didnt no what way to turn last year if you get my meaning

Jonathan Rea tested the Honda Casey Stoner is now riding and put in some phenomenal lap times!! If the Castrol Honda was up to speed, Jonny would be walking away with this championship - at least that is what I think! I have always been a big fan of J.R. and just know that all he needs is the right bike! One of these days though !!!!!!!
