The Briton was hoping to be back to full strength by now, but has been forced to take further time out on doctors' advice.

sorry to say this ...BUT... and i Hope i am wrong...BUT... This injury could end JT's career in motorcycle racing (and not help his piano). Good advice to take to sit out.. but with his fall from grace how long can he sit out (injury or not) before teams will not take a chance on him (big teams I mean).

I Wish him a speedy recovery and hope everything is sorted for brno!!

** .... what a huge disappointment James must be totally gutted... sickening must have been some major damage done to that wrist. Just hope James can stay positive, must be hard to stay focused. I am hoping we are not seeing an early end to your career... very sad day that would be.

BSB is certainly not an option and never will be. james is only 30 and all you have to do is look around the wsbk paddock and see who is dominating the series, and they are knocking on 40 !! these comments might be wishful thinking by some JT haters but rule him out at your peril. Thats what some people did with Checa, And ??????

Sad news, and very similar to Vermeulen's case. I hope not, but this can mean the end of his career.
I don't think BMW Italia will retain him, paying for 2 bikes and racing with only one is not the best business, regardless of how unlucky Toseland's situation is. They could find a regular replacement after Phillip Island, who, until James is fully fit, would took points for the team but with Toseland trying to come back every second race weekend, there was/is no chance of that. (it's the same with Vermeulen) And I'm not sure how many serious team will want them next year.

Of course, maybe (and I wish that) I'm wrong and after some years he will again fight for wins and championships.
