As I see it the problem is simple, the Fireblade is a turd and Johnny, being ultra competitive rides it at 110% to compensate resulting in some spectacular crashes

If Honda dont give this lad a decent bike hes gonna get hurt

JR has 2 options-ride around outside the top 12 and do your career no good or,push the bike beyond what it is capable of and risk hurting yourself (and being labelled by pc warriors as a crasher!)he is in a no win situation...AND,if he goes to MotoGP with TK i still dont have faith in them to develop a bike if it patently isnt working!!

cmon Honda please help this team out!!! you turned the RCV212 into a nearly unbeatable machine im sure the boffins at HRC can do the same to this bike too! Its gut wrenching seeing Johnny beating himself up just to make into the top 5 even

this was always going to happen, reas over riding this bike to get anywhere near the others lap times, and its gonna hurt him a lot, most others teams have stepped forward from last year ,the honda has not,two yrs ago here rea was banging fairings with the ducatis to win a cracking race, now hes light years off that, tenkate can get it working if they have a few days of testing at a track, but you dont get that every weekend, its so far up its own backside with electronics ,and i fear tenkate have lost there way with it,and have spread their resources too thinly again as a team, and reas paying the price for it, as he does not want to run around in tenth place every race,he over rides it to try and get it up there.hes not a happy puppy.

@DW-you remind me of the people who were labelling cal "crashlow" last year and camier as "crashmier"...ALL the Brits have fallen this weekend,JR was just unlucky to pick up a bad injury from his fall...

@ Phil

Cal has proved he can put a season together & win a World Championship.
Leon did the same with the 2009 BSB title.

Johnny has never won a regional, club, or backyard championship because every season he finds a way to injure himself ... even when he has competitive equipment.

If I was his manager, I'd have him racing motards. At least then he's supposed to spend time both on the track & in the dirt.

Sorry to hear JR has broken his right wrist and left collarbone in addition to concussion. No doubt he and Cal will be comparing X-Rays back in the IOM.

Hope they both heal up soon.
