I know this is a british site and all you guys cheer on this nice dude Sykes but the top Kawa rider is Vermy and you will have to get used to that :D
Till the season ends Chris Vermeulen will be best :)

As a BIG CV fan, I was delighted to see him get a top 10 finish in race two, however I feel that his injuries will continue to hamper him until the end of the season and I am sorry to say that I very much doubt that he will be on the WSBK grid next year. Personally, I hope to see him finish the year strongly and then maybe replace useless Xaus at Castrol Honda for 2012. We all know how good CV is and hope he gets a good chance after all the problems he has had. One thing is for sure, he can NEVER be accused of not being a fighter! Good luck Chris.

in the second race vermeulen was 17 secs off the pace by the checkered flag. that pace would put him into contention with third placed melandri in the first race. that's very important for a rider who did not properly race almost a full year. go chris..

Talk about wishing someone a career end. The CBR is crap. I bet he does better on the kawa than anyone on the Ten Kate next year.

His point is that 17 seconds after half a race equals 34 seconds after a whole race...

..Melandri was 17 seconds back after a full distance race, so on schoolboy math CV would be a further 17 seconds back from that- not on a par with him.

Six non starters, three retirements and out of the fourteen finishers two at the back fell and remounted. So effectively he was 10th out of twelve, hardly something to get excited about.
Half of us armchair racers could probably manage that.
