I'm not saying by any means that crash's BBS system is the be all end all rating system however, the entire front page of 'have your say' in the WSBK section has 103 comments (now 104). The Stoner thread alone has 161 comments.

For a series that is so much better, no one really comments on it.

The moto GP comments are all the same. The first 10 are about the article and the rest are made by a few fan boys that fit into 2 subjects (Rossi is rubbish/Stoners awesome or Stoner is rubbish/Rossi is awesome)....Yawn.

These races are awesome but I would like to see Biaggi retain the title. Accassionally we is not the most "people person" out there but who cares, one helluva rider.

But on a less serious note. Melandri winning is also good cos' his partner get all exctied and jumps up down and that, in itself, os great TV!! :-O

Keep plugging away at those podiums and wins, that points lead can vanish into thin air as the season goes on. Haga loss a huge points advantage and Checa may start a late season fade in which you or the Biaggi can win it. all

Yes and no.

Those riders generate interest, who does that in WSBK? People complain about the soap opera that has become GP, but people are still talking.

F1, WSBK, BSB, RR, GT, Rally and Nascar combined do not even generate the same amount of comments and interest as Moto GP.

There have also been far more technical discussions in the GP section than here.

As I said, I'm not claiming Crash dot net to be the benchmark, but WSBK and BSB do not even generate as much discussion as F1, to which both F1 and GP are claimed boring by some.

@ Fan. I think the fact the F1 and Grand Prix motorcycle racing have been around for so long has helped to generate a very passionate fan base for both series. I also agree that the personalities create interest which is what Rossi brings to Moto GP regardless of his results. It's in WSBK's interest to try and keep as many of its riders in the series from year to year to try and build these guys up.
