WSBK » Haslam battles hard at Brno, regains fifth

Though seventh and eighth are not his idea of a strong set of race results, Leon Haslam actually rises back to fifth in th standings at Brno.

And who says it gonna be easy anyway..??
It's racing dude and this not motor touring.
If you picked a good bike (Suzuki, Yamaha, Aprilia, and Ducati) you have a chance to win or at least a podium, but if you picked a "factory supported piece of junk" (the one you demand so much) you got NOTHING.. A podium is merely a luck, nothing more..
Ironic decision isn't it??

Wow, I've read some ******** in my time but you're right up there with the best.

Haslam had a great chance to win the championship last year but Suzuki couldn't be ****d to fund development for WSBK and instead concentrated on MotoGP (for some unknown reason). What was he supposed to do, stay on the exact same bike again this year and have even less chance of winning because all of the other bikes had moved on, or take a gamble with BMW who are pumping money in to really try and win.

If BMW would stop persisting with this stupid aim of trying to write their own electronics package and just buy a Magneti Marelli instead they might get some better results (look at what BMW Italia are achieving with the MM package).

I suggest you read

you might learn something, and think twice before spouting such nonsense again.

Top marks to Haslam though. We all know the guy has both skill and dedication and these results are in no way a reflection of where he should be. I just hope BMW swallow their pride and get external assistance in the electronics department before even LH has enough. The bike has the potential to gain consistent podium places, with the occasional win thrown in. LH's efforts deserve more.

No, look at J.T. BMW Italia!
