Since the high of getting pole at thruxton Alex has gone off the boil a bit I feel, he needs to remember hes not made it yet, and focus on his riding - this weekend was not very good for him, he knows the honda reasonably well, and knew the track too - so 1 point from two races is a fairly poor return in my opinion.

I d
on't believe there was any financial incentive to Ten Kate for Lowes to ride this weekend, he's only ridden a Kawasaki Superbike a few rounds In BSB, he's come onto the world stage without testing on track he barely know's and scored a point on his debut on bike which is hardly the best this year while beating his vastly experienced team mate. Just what would make you all happy? And no, he doesn't know the honda as an BSB evo bike has non of the sophisticated electronics and would be quite different to the WSBK. Hardly the best weekend ever, but not a tits up diasater either.

Poor old Alex been thrown in at the very deep end most team riders have to walk before they can run,he listens to what the eurosport commentators are always saying about his great riding.Prove me and other fans they are right and please just try to win something.

I don't know what's up with you lot on here. Alex himself knew quite well when he put on those Castrol Honda leathers he wasn't going to beat Biaggi, Melandri, Checa and Co (just a slight difference in age and experience if you hadn't noticed) but what had he got to loose ??? Absolutely nothing, and with another test at Assen possibly alot to gain. Give the lad a break, he's living the dream and can only get faster and faster. Good luck son, for now just enjoy the experience and what will be will be.

alex isn't the problem? its all the people that a@"e lick him?

also why doesn't rolfo get a mention, he must have had a "mega" ride to be in 14th one better the alex you know....

btw if you didn't know that was sarcasm

Some people on here amuse me, why have a good at a young talented lad who had the opportunity to get this ride, he didn't test the bike before this weekend so go out and do what he did on the bike and get faster in every session I think deserves some praise.

Alex comes from a working class background and got this ride by talent as has already been said. I know the family myself and don't appreciate people having a go, he went out and did his best with the time he had on the bike and with his sheer raw talent! Hopefully further testing this week will help and I know he will go out and prove all the non supporters wrong! Rant over, go give em hell Alex your true fans believe in you!

Firstly, not a bad first crack at the world stage on a new track and a proper superbike no offence MSS I love you!!

Secondly, Yeah should of brought Pitt out of retirement fixed his nerve damage in his arm and let him try it! WTF?? If people say Alex embarrassed himself then what did Xaus do?? Rolfo didn't get a mention because he's been at it a lot longer and has much more experience over several championships and he finished just one place higher. Enough said??
