If you beat it it's like luck.!

History tells us that a 2cil always was dominant in wsbk and with the 200cc extra its something extra in a already dominant 2cil motor

Checa on top doesn't surprise me, but Maxime Berger does as his Ducati is a lower spec older bike than Checas.

I will be very impressed if Berger can maintain his excellent performance for the whole weekend (and somewhat surprised!).

@Moses - When the rules were drawn up it was estimated that a 1200 twin would be capable of revving to about 12,000 rpm and would be producing about the same power at peak revs as a four cylinder revving at 14,400 rpm.
