WSBK » Checa on cloud nine with Silverstone win

The Spaniard was unmatched after taking the lead on lap seven, heading a lonely Eugene Laverty and a fortunate Marco Melandri.

Boring race! Getting like GP's used to be! PROCESSIONAL !!! Give Checa the title now as that bike obviously has a massive advantage ! Where's the ballast man ? I'd like to hear his opinion!

I don't know how you SBK fans enjoying the race is beyond me. With power/weight ratio, SBK is an elephant race. The rider spent a lot of time battling the extra weight than focusing on the race craft. If they remove 10kg from the bike weight I might interested to watch them for the full season.

I find it interesting that as soon as a team/rider develops a good package, there are always outcries about the rules. This is just like last year when everyone claimed the Aprilia was magical, and now evidentally Althea has the same pixie dust.

I think it's very telling how currently Checa is the only Duc in the top 10...surely that 200cc advantage would help out the other teams too. Similarly, last year Biaggi was the only Aprilia in the top 10. Interesting.

Checa's been around forever and done nothing much! He's not done a lot more this year! Yes he's using his experience but he's also riding a bike with a massive advantage! Where's the ballast man?
